About Kiara
Kiara Daniels credits growing up as the middle child of an Afro-Dominican family in NYC as the ultimate mental training for backpacking across Oloitoktok, Kenya, and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. Somewhere between planting trees and teaching the iconic “Zip Zap Zop” to students at Ol Karia Primary School in Kenya, Kiara reaffirmed that theater truly knows no borders.
While obtaining her BFA in Acting for Film and Television at Pace University, she got to be a part of Christina Lilavois’, The History Will Always Stay, which premiered at Chelsea Film Festival! The story follows a young woman who is jettisoned back in time through a family heirloom. The film tackled Black history and the intricacies of family dynamics, which are themes that excite Kiara.
When her nose isn’t in a script, you can find Kiara dancing to *NSYNC, raving about the most recent Grand Prix (Go Weeyums!), or plotting her next day trip out of the city for a good ol’ hike.
